Medium Bio:  Kimberly Duffy is a Long Island native currently living in Southwest Ohio. When she’s not homeschooling her four kids, she writes historical fiction that takes her readers back in time and across oceans. She loves trips that require a passport, recipe books, and practicing kissing scenes with her husband of twenty years. He doesn’t mind.

Long Bio: Kimberly Duffy grew up on Long Island, New York surrounded by beaches and books. She left one behind when she traveled to India, met a Midwestern boy, and moved to Ohio, but she’s never abandoned her love of books.

As a homeschooling mom of four, Kimberly happily plies her children with biographies, classic novels, and the odd math textbook that masquerades as stories. It is her greatest wish that her kids will fall in love with Mary Lennox, Jane Eyre, Gilbert Blythe (the oldest has already succumbed to his charm), and Jo March.

Having always dreamed of writing the type of books that sweep readers to another place, another time, Kimberly is thrilled to be publishing with Bethany House. When she’s not writing, researching, or trying to keep up with Instagram, she can be found buying all the historical cookbooks, cooking, lifting weights at the gym, and binge watching New Girl.
